Greetings all, we can't believe it's August already. So it's probably a good time to share what we were up to during the month of July.
It was a big month for us...
Mithra gets UKGF backing
First things first, we're incredibly excited to share that Mithra has received funding from the UK Games Fund!
As a small team working to get our first title out the door, cashflow is always the most pressing matter for us. Thanks to the support of the UK Games Fund we're able to concentrate full time on Mithra into 2027 without having to look for co-development work to keep us afloat. We're absolutely delighted that the team over at UKGF support and believe in Mithra as much as we do. We can't wait to the latest updates with you all in the coming months.

You can find Mithra over on the UK Games Fund’s funded projects page:

Seventh Disorder-on-sea
If that wasn’t already enough to keep us busy in July, we also made our way down to the south coast for Develop Conference where we were showcasing at Brilliant Indie Treasures:

This was a really exciting showing for us. Not long before we left for Brighton, we finished a end-to-end playable build of our new London act. It was really exiting to allow the public to get hands on with this never before seen section of the game and I'm grateful to all of the visitors to our stall who gave their feedback on this new area of the game.

There’s still plenty of work to do, of course, but being able to showcase something other than our battle tested prologue demo feels like a big step forward!
The team grows
Thanks to the prototype fund, we were also able to add a few fresh new faces to the project. We're now bolstered with new art and narrative support which enables us to speed up the pace of development itself whilst also giving us the opportunity to professionalise our operation ahead of localisation and voice acting which will hopefully be starting in the coming months.
That's everything for now, make sure you subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to hear about everything Mithra related!
Until next time.
